Back in the 1950's there was a country singer by the name of T. Texas Tyler from Huntington, WV who sang a song titled "Deck of Cards". Same story from way back when.

Dunno about T.Texas Tyler's cover of the song, but Tex Ritter did the original (or at least gets credit for it by Joel Whitburn), It was Number 54, in the top 100 Country 1948, and Wink Martindale did it again, #60 in 1959 Country 100 . . .

I have a mp3 of them both if anyone wants them. PM me . . .
