Thats a shame,never take a check,unless you let it clear and get the cash. Hold the car till the check clears. Hope you get these scumbags,GOOD LUCK.

It's a shame that our society has come to this point in time. There was a time when a persons handshake meant something, but not now. I think we've all been raised to trust our fellow man, but anymore you have to cover your butt with both hands in just about any transaction you undertake. There are some slick talking folks out there that gain your confidence and then proceed to rake you over the coals. Our instincts can sometimes guide us in these situations and you need to trust your own instincts and be prepared to walk away from a ''deal''

Even sadder than not being able to trust people today is that when they get caught,noting happens to them,but a slap on the wrist. Thats when a little street justice needs to take place. I really hope you find these guys. GOOD LUCK.
