You have something else going on, Is your engine MDS :?: What year is it? Those engines should get between 18 and 22 MPG . My brothers get's 21 here in the mountians. My Cummins gets 23 here in the mountians.

Oh yeah you can put one on a gas engine but how they do on fuel mileage i really don't know. I work at a Chrysler/Dodge dealership. I have wondered how they help on a Diesel with all that black smoke myself. A Diesel blowing black smoke is just unburn't fuel, Too rich. But remember too lean and you will melt that engine down :!: :!: Right now engines are running as lean as they can thanks to our wonderfull federal Goverment :!:

Ive tried Bully Dog, Hypertech, Diablosport and a Hyperchip on my 2500 hd. Bully Dog didnt do s#@t besides drain my pocket same went for hyperchip. Diablosport had a increase in mpg, but in the end i went back to the one started with it is the hypertech e-con save me a average of 3 mpg. Deisels i have heard bully dog worked well.

got the diablosport in the 6.6 duramax in the 4x4 3500 dually crew cab and it works great... in tow mode .... it will pull a frigging house down and with the 125hp program in it... she will just pin ya in your seat get 20 to 21mpg in reg mode and 45 to 50 in 125hp mode.. pending on speed. over 70mph it drops of alot
