Default GASSER !

My ONLY problem with this car is there are NO spring shackles on the front springs.....In other words ZERO suspension travel causing vigorous front end bounce....????

Sure it does. One of the pics shows shackles on the rear of the front leaf springs.

X2, has 3" shackles on the rear of the springs, but i don't like the chewing gum welds on the chassis. It does look good on the outside and inside but i wouldn't want to drive it any faster than the 11 sec. it runs. I'm bulding a 1948 myself, but i can assure you it's a strut chassis and the welds are heli-arc'ed on the chassis.

Zip.

I STAND CORRECTED ops: ops: ops: ops: ops:
I was so focused on the welds that I failed to see the shackle right there in front of my face
