Okay... just so this is crystal clear...
because I have wondered the same thing from time to time... a person can buy a VIN stamp & title & transfer this over to another car & register that vehicle as such once transferred???
I had to prove my 69 Camaro I had once to the state police (I was deferred to them by DMV) to prove in more than one location that the car I had REALLY WAS THE CAR I HAD. in other words, I needed 2 Vins.
The state cop made me pull the windshield-wiper cowl off to reference a partial serial on the fire wall. Once done, they allowed me to transfer title. Had I bought a VIN tag & phony title, it would have failed me.
I see people selling build sheets now too... that is lame. Either you have the built sheet to car or you don't. How is all of this possible???

It has been removed. We do not allow this, even for "entertainment" purposes. We know how "entertaining" these things are. DMV's on the other hand don't take too kindly to the transfer of these little numbers.
