Default MUD RACING NEWBIE...

I'm looking to get into mud racing (fast track, not hill/hole).

Anyway, I can pull a wrench, but don't know anything on making an engine fast. Been studying a lot on cutting weight etc. but need over-all help. Looking to find something w/ a V-8 over 454 cu. in. in a S-10, Toyota, Ranger, etc.

Any ideas ?

Hit me here...I'll get the email notification.

Thanks.. :?:

1st tip don't use a Toyota frame. Although they are really strong they're boxed in from front to rear which means they're heavy.

Find a good roller and work from there.
