mechanical water pumps and fans

Default mechanical water pumps and fans

On a drag car that finishes the 1/4 at 7200 rpm can I use a mechanical fan, water pump, and thermostat, or do I have to go electric. Thanks for the input.

going elec. just frees up a few xtra ponies..... you can still run your mech stuff.

I go thru at 77-7800,mechanical fan and water pump,plus an alterantor.4 inch crank pulley,50% underdrive to slow things down.No thermostat,works fine for me.Bill.
