Default HELP! Seller does not respond!

I'm interested in a car for sale here. It's been listed since June, and I emailed and messaged them here back in June. I pretty much gave up after a while.

They modified the ad 5 days ago to include a different email (no phone or other way to contact). I again sent an email and messaged them here.
Is there anything else I can try to get hold of this seller?

http://www.racingjunk.com/category/1...r-sale-NV.html

I have checked in here for years, but only bought one other car here. Obviously, this is also my first post, although I have lurked from time to time. Signed up in 2003.
I realize having a strong presence here helps, but since I don't have one, I can't fault the seller for that. Seller signed up in 2007.
I realise the price is near or in the too good to be true area, but ya gotta have hope. Plus, it's not back-halfed like most. Just looking for a basic car for my GF.
Just wondering if there is any other course than what I have already outlined.

I have been here awhile... I don't recognize that name as a scammer or stroker. You are right; it is a good deal. Now you have curious why he is not responding... the ad is well written, descriptive, etc... I hope you land a deal if it is accurate! Good luck!

Thanks, I guess I'll just keep checking that inbox!
If anyone recognises the car or member 'grenade' I'd appreciate a lead.
Las Vegas is 6 hours away and way too big to try to track down one car.

The 2 photobucket links do not work even when copied/pasted into browser.

It's common for a forum to shorten a visible link to fit the page, but these were not recognised as links, so they got shortened and are incomplete.
Looking at the source, it shows as

http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e304/ ... 0_0296.jpg

where the "..." is the part that got shortened.
You need to add the tags around a link....

I tried different shortenings of the photobucket address, but had no luck.
The one picture shown was loaded to here at racing junk, so that's no help either (also common for a site).

I even used an old Yahoo email account I had set up for a van forum, so he would get a Yahoo mail from a Yahoo mail....

I'd like to get the car, but first I gotta get hold of the seller!

Doing a search for that new email shows him selling stuff on LS1 and LS2 forums in 2006-08 and and EVO forum selling a couple things back in 2006-07 also. Seems to have sold the items without drama.
He goes by PHTCBRA over on ls1tech.com and was there on 7/29/11. Anyone here a member over there?

Well, I think the guy's name is Gabe Short, but that is another dead end. He is not working at the place he posted any more (So Cal Speed Shop Las Vegas). Can't seem to find much more except he may be 27.

Well, I had a relative of a friend visit the address I had tracked down online and the car is there, but no one home. He left a note, but the guy still won't respond! It's been 2 days.
So I guess this car is NOT for sale!
