Default running out of fuel

Started my dragster, adjusted the alky carb, ran fine for 20-30 minutes. Got to 160deg and stayed there. Trailered it 200 miles, got it cert. went to my buddys and now it will not idle. It seems to run out of fuel and get hot quick, looked at bowls, adjusted again, looked for vacuum leaks. no explaination....any ideas?????

aeromotive a2000 . 20 lbs at pump 8 lbs at regulator, fuel is flowing good, filter clean, all lines and fittings checked. It seems to be in the carb. As I mentioned... it worked; trailered it; it wont work:

Did absolutely ALL the simple stuff, had the carb apart, cleaned it, set it all up again.... same deal.
If it was suckin' air in the line or fitting it would have to be leakin' under pressure. Correct?
It is a used carb and I know better than to buy used racin' equipment. Sent the carb to George Rupert. If that doesn't work I'll take off the manifold.
Thanks for your help David
Any other ideas are appreciated, just looking for something I might have missed.

When you say fuel is flowing good, did you check it through the regulator or before? Wish it was something really easy you could pick up on.
