You want like it once you get it. The blade is too narrow, they only come in carbon steel blades, not High Speed blades, and will not cut straight once the blade gets a little dull. It won't cut 4130 cromoly tubing, atleast not very long per blade. You'll be much better off with an abrasive 10"/12" blade cut off saw. Yes i owned one and i sold it at a yard sale for $50.00, not the same brand, mine was a Doall, american made.

thanks zip. I use a 14 in abrasive saw now, looking for a better way & has to be portable . I prefab as much as I can in the shop, but final fitting needs to be done in the field. I have a METALPRO 4500 in the shop & shear all my straight cuts, cant miter with it. thanks

I have a 12" Abrasive that's portable (about 50 lbs.) from Northern Hydaulics that's a miter cost about $175.00 if i remember correctly i've had it for yrs.

The 14 in ridgid I have miters but you have to move the work piece . Im also concerned with the saw blade life . this saw is $1000....not cheap!
