It will suck after a while. I have 295/50's on my v-8 blazer daily driver, which is a tad over 27 inches tall, and 3:73's. With the t350, I was a tad over 3000 rpm in drive @ 55 on the interstate, and everyone was passing me like I was tied to a post. I ditched the t350 for a built 700r4, and cruise 70'ish @ 2200 rpm...

i`d say your good , 29 " tires at 55 its gonna be around 2500 rpm. i`d personaly go w/4.56 `s and that would keep it just under 3grand but i guess it depends on if your driving it every day etc, etc, etc.

It will depend a lot on your converter. My '66 Nova I had with 31" tires and 4.56 gear was 3100rpm at 55mph. So there are variables. Your setup will be a little different, but now you have a few choices.

Let's just pretend you will drive 65 MPH - because you know you will!!

A manual trans car @65 with 29 tall tire is 3095 RPM.

Add converter slippage and you're cranking it up.

I agree with mytmouz, go with a 700R4.
