Problem with seller "creig"
Hi,all!
Has anyone had a problem with seller named "creig"?
He sold me a set of Racepak EGT's for $520 in the middle of December.
Although I got EGT's by the beginning of January, there is no way
(according to Donnie @ Racepak) to make them work with a Racepak.
Emails and phone calls have been useless. He keeps saying he's sending cables or a box to make the EGT's work with the Racepak, but here it is
the beginning of March, and all I've got is a $520 doorstop.
Now he's down to seeing my number on caller ID and not answering the phone.
I have his address and phone number (Florida) if anyone lives down in that
area. I'm in AZ, so it's not around the corner for me.
I've not had any real bad dealings on RJ as a buyer (about 30 buys), but after reading some of the horror stories on this forum, I have to ask....
Whatever happened to playing "straight-up" anymore ???
And whose brilliant idea was it to not allow to give feedback to a seller unless the seller makes his honor payment???

Thanks for getting him off his ass to contact me.
Problem is, he told me early in Jan he had the cables to make the EGT's work and he would send. Never sent them. Then in late Jan , after more prodding and my talk with Racepak telling me they would not work, he tells
me he has a box to make the EGT's work and he will send it. Never sent.
Which brings us to today.
Since your email, he sent me a message thru RJ that it will now be another $500 to make these work with a Racepak.
I sent him a reply, that the items are not as listed in the ad and I would like a refund.
Can I just cut and paste the text of my messages to the forum??
After looking at the ad, am I out of line or expecting too much?

Sellers name is Craig Kiernan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL
His message of today is that I got exactly what he listed.
Another 3 calls to Racepak, and again seller is lying.
The $500 box seller says is all I need, Racepak says is $549 per side.
I'd have over $1600 in EGT's, when new from Bickel or Racepak
they are $1398.
Worst part is that since buying these , I have seen others on RJ for sale
complete for about $800.
And they must be more honest sellers, since buyers have not posted
complaints.
His message of today is that I got exactly what he listed.
