Default So what's new on your list of car updates?????

Just wondering what everyone is doing to there cars over the off season? I am fixing a rearend seal leak that has driven me crazy, putting a new yoke on that I can put a magnet ring on. The magnet ring is for the new data recorder I am adding. Also bought a digital dial board from Biondo because I race alone quite a bit and I hate when I decide to change my dial AFTER I have strapped in. No more problem. Ordered new front runners hoping they won't leak through the sidewalls like the last set. Probably going to get a new scoop for the car. Updating me also with a new firesuit.

The wife bought me a new 20' enclosed trailer so I have been working on getting it set up the way I want. I have to say this has been a good Christmas season for me. I hope everyone of you has as blessed of a Christmas as my family is having.

First that's a nice present from your wife!

I'm getting my very first Nitrous kit. It's a Speedtech Fogger. Gonna put my motor on a bottle and see if I can wake it up a little.
I had several other plans, but kinda confused about my set up after the last few races of the year.

Hoping to switch over to a Ron's Terminator and alcohol. Need to replace all the old lexan. Starting to look bad. That's about it.

I had the motor freshened already. Plan to buy a new FTI Converter. I sold my car a few weeks back and will need to find a replacement, so I'll have a very busy start of the new year.

Going to a built 434" with stacks injection and a good set of Brodix 10's that flow 320 CFM instead of the mousey 377 with a toilet bowl and track 1 heads, plus a new set of Toyo slicks to replace the 9 yr. old GY's. Hoping to drop from the 6.50's into the 5's with 3200 lbs. plus car and as always alcohol.

Zip.

because they are tough and its around $1200-$1500 less then a fab 9
I will have 40 spline moser axells and it will be 38.5" outside drum to outside drum just like my mopar 8 3/4 I have right now

Yes, they are tough, but they're also VERY heavy! Why a fab 9? A basically stock 9" housing with all the right parts won't cost much more than a Dana 60, will be plenty strong, and a bunch lighter.......of course you might be one of those "no Ford parts on my Chevy" guys. Personally, for a tenth, I'd suck it up....
