Default Shaved Doors - Won't open with switch

I bought a drag car that has the door handles removed and some type of opened apparently installed in the door itself. The buttons to open the doors are next to the taillights (83 camaro). The problem is they don't seem to work. I havn't taken the door panels off yet. Where can I get something that will open these doors?

Not sure if all openers are remote or not if thats what you are looking for. Can you remove the wsitch and jump it to see if that will open it?

When I press either remote switch button, you can hear something a click, so I know that something is being pulsed. Where do you buy whatever is used to open the door. I can't find any info.

You happen to get those doors opened, switch them ASAP to 'manual'. There's no way in HECK would I have a race car with electric door latches. What happens when you're upside down and on fire and you or the rescue crew can't get those doors opened ?

Well, the idea of being trapped in any car without any means of opening the door is a tad bit scary.
