To those that have served in the past and serve now. I give you a big thank you.
My hat goes off to the true heros that have given the ultimate sacrifice for or freedoms. Those are my heros. God speed and God bless.

God and American pride is still alive and well in my Grandkids' school.
My crew chief and I attended a real nice Veterans Day program put on by their elementary school. Sang the Anthem, said the Pledge, the kids sang a bunch of patriotic songs, then they had us Vets stand, introduce ourselves and tell a bit of what we each did. More than a few tears wet cheeks in the crowd. There was a WW ll vet who was a tail gunner on a B24 Liberator, flew 26 missions. In all it was a prideful display of Americanism that is sadly lacking in many parts of our wonderful country.
God Bless America and her people !

Veteran's Day !
I am an old veteran and proud of it ! I feel it was a privilege to serve my country ! I think it made a man out of a shy young kid and think today's youth would be better served by requiring them to do likewise ! Just my $0.02 !
