Default COMPRESSION QUESTION

CAN I GET A GUESS AT WHAT COMPRESSION I HAVE IN MY 406.
FLAT TOP PISTONS WITH 2 VALVE RELIEFS,STOCK BLOCK 4340 CRANK 6"HBEAM RODS,64CC AFR HEADS.WOULD MORE COMPRESSION MAKE MORE HP AND ABOUT HOW MUCH MORE.

Depends on other factors such as deck height, etc., but somewhere in the 10:6 to 11:0 range I would say...

Useing the wallace calculator, with a .041 head gasket and a "0" deck height, with 6cc valve reliefs which is common for eyebrow pistons it comes to.

Your displacement is 406.77 CID
The Compression Ratio is: 11.53

course there are lot's of factors to change this as mentioned in the earlier posts, such as deck heigth, difference valve reliefs and different gasket thickness.
