Default sbc427 heads HELP

i have a sbc 427 with brodix track ones i feel they holding me back can any one tell me what i need with out going 18deg mine is 23deg dont want to change pistons been told the new afr 220 elm are the best have seen somepontiac 867 that flow unreal can anyone tell me about them do they need off set rockers please help thank you very much

Here is some 23° head flow info for you from Speier Racing Heads. Chad posted these numbers on DRR's bracket talk tech section for a guy with a 383. Hope this is a help.

AFR 220 is capable of making over 700 HP on that 427. We use them on a regular basis. Be prepared to port the intake, you will need extra air flow for the top end.

im looking real hard into the afr 220's what intake u say i got the hvh 1000 brodix now with nothing done to it also going with a 1.6 rocker give me more lift
