Default tube or no tube

I have a 67 camaro that is back halved , tires are 31x16.5x15 . Car weight is 3710 with me in it , this is a street car with a pump gas 540 motor . I am looking into mickey thompsons et street {bias}13.5x16.5x15 or mickeythompson pros . Since this car is heavy should you use the inner tubes to help the side wall and round out the tire at speed or is this just bs sellsmanship.Thank you to all that can lend some advice :?:

No tubes. Just more rotating mass. Coat inside of tire wire Ivory dish soap and it will seal well and no problems with pinched tubes either.

Tubes can give you problems with the tyres wrinkling unevenly when launching.
