has anyone bought from dandyjoe, i am buying a 355 engine from him so far he has been a great guy to deal with, very helpful,just want to make sure.thanks

Never heard of him. I would be nice if I was trying to sell you something.....Do you have an ad #? I personally, would NEVER buy a used motor from someone I do not know......If he screws you, I wonder if he will be so nice and helpful afterwards?

Excellent advice Rudy or at least try and get some documentation of any work done to the engine.

I'd pull the pan and at least see what's inside. Pull a rod bearing and a main bearing. A pan gasket and a little time are cheap insurance.
