Default 454 LINE BORE ,,,,HELP ZIP

FRIEND OF MINE IS RUNNING A 454, DROPPED A VALVE AND TOOK OUT ONE PISTON AND ONE CYLINDER, HAD A SLEEVE PUT IN, AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER.. MADE IT ABOUT 50 MILES AND TORE THE BEARINGS UP, TOOK BACK TO THE MCHINE SHOP AND THEY SAID THE LINE BORE WAS OFF NOW.. ENGINE RAN GREAT BEFORE DROPPED A VALVE, IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THE LINE BORE TO BE OFF NOW... IF SO HOW COULD THE LINE BORE CHANGE.. THANKS

It's very possibly, especially if it was a wet sleeve, where they may have heated the block and froze the sleeve to install it, it could have shifted the main bearing webs of the block.
