427 TALL BLOCK
A freind of mine has a Chevy 427 tall block[short block assembly] no heads or intake-- he was going to put in his street rod[but found out it was going to cost more to build then he wanted]
all standard bore and crank specs
??? is it worth hooking on to or just let it go somewhere else???
and yeah guys-I KNOW IT IS A CHEVY :? :?

If I could get it reasonably cheap I'd get it...
They are difficult to use in a street car because the extra deck height can cause issues with headers etc...but for a race car maybe not so much...I believe it makes it easier to put a long stroke crank in it. jmo I've never had a tall deck. The tall deck is 10.2 and the standard deck is 9.8 FYI
