recently i purchased a chevette backhalfed with a bar. its a real solid car , no rot , and it does have the full wheel wheels/shock mounts/ frontcradle support up front. i need headers for it. i`m not lookin for big power. i`ve got a 5000 stall, 488`s, gonna transbrake it , maybe. its a real mild pump gas 383 with vortech steel heads. i figure if i make 425 hp i`ll be real happy....425 in a 2600 lb car with driver .. 6.70`s or so eigth mile. i`m streetin it too. i would reaallyyy like to get shorty 1.75 diam headers in the stock configuration. i really need some places to look , i`ve called most of the retailers and manufactuers. i may have to resort to cobing and bebending flea market headers. or ....i cringe... fulll cage it and do fenderwells. i`m not looking to go real fast or make any big power... i just want some tubes that fit. thnx in advance.

sanderson cc-13 headers fit a v8 monza.. 1.5 tubes , they should feed the motor to 5800 or so. this is my most likely choice so far.. the basic shape put the collecters more or less at the current outlet locations now. i `m sure i`m going to have to cut and re weld.... help please
