Default Drag Chute Installation String

I'm all out of strings (lost) has anybody used shoe strings? or where can I get more (from the manufacture like stroud)?

Nylon boot laces have always worked just fine for me.

Yeah i use a Puma shoelace.
Its got aluminum ends on either end.

Last time i had chassis work done, the chassis builder stole or threw away my string for my chute.

Default Your chain saw of course!

A pull chord for your chain saw at Ace hardware or equal, is what Stroud uses as far as I can tell. I pay $3.00 for 3'of chord from a bulk roll.

Thank you for all the replies. I ended up getting some round boot laces from Walmart and cut them in half because they where very long. So one end has the nice plastic thread end, should be good enough..
