dominator?
Putting a 540 bracket motor together,13.5-comp 750 ish lift cam, with 280 dur, RHS alum heads360CC as cast,2500 lb car,5.14 gear with a glide.found a great deal on a 1250 brand new in the box for $600,I know it's a little big but how much will it hurt me and i guess it would be on the low end where i will loose the most?

As long as you have the stall speed above peak torque it should handle it. I would guess you need around 5800 to 6000 stall, your 5.14 gear will help a little as well. It's about keeping the velocity high in the induction tract, the higher it is the bigger you can usually get away with. 80532 or 80533? 80532 has a little better bleed setup, but for either I would remove the intermediate bleeds (leave them out) and run .025 in the MAB's to start with. Jet as the engine needs.

Yep that's about where I'm at 8" converter stalls 5500-5800.Thanks for the reply and It is a 80532 .May stall a little higher with the new motor, went from a pump gas 502 to a 13.8 540.Thanks again.!!
It has 100 n jets in it now, with power valves front and rear, should I remove the rear power valve and jet up 6-7 in the rear larger than what the front ends up at?.

The 80532 and 80533 both come from Holley with 97 square and NO power valves. Someone has messed with it. Go back to 97 square, if you want to run a primary PV start with 93's in the front, do NOT use one in the secondary. Make sure you use notched floats and jet extensions. You may want to post the #'s off the metering blocks, make sure they are correct for the carb. I won't be home till tomorrow night, I can get the #'s off of the blocks I removed from mine to compare. Some times the carb's list # is on the blocks, but not always. Here is the websites for Holley info.
