check out photo of rear tire, how much air pressure?

Default check out photo of rear tire, how much air pressure?

if you get a chance look at competition plus photos of final rounds at infinion race (scroll down to bottom of page) check super gas and look at Val Torres rear tire is this under inflated? i run hoosier 32.5x16.50x15 co7 at 6 1/2 pounds, 2500# car could i go with lower air pressure? thanks bowler

Curtis on competition plus front page scroll down to the bottom, and look at" final round photos from sonoma " and they show all finals and Val Torres lost the super gas final his picture shows the rear tire, it looks really wadded up!

Curtis sorry i was wrong you have to hit on NEWS on front page and then scroll down, Val Torres lost to Shawn Langdon way to go Shawn. bowler

Wow! Those really are wadded up. I thought mine were pretty bad, but those are scary! Probably why he went red...... I had 4.4 in mine in the pic in the show off section. That's what I usually run.

I can't argue that it works for him, but that is way more wad/lower pressure than I would run. Not sure how much air is in them but I would prefer more for top end stability also. I saw a picture one of the tire manufacturers had and it showed the optimum had 3-4 wrinkles in the sidewall.

But every car is different. I have been going up on pressure in mine lately. Running 6 3/4 right now. I just changed to a 14.5-33 from 16.5-33 so I will be starting over testing, but I am starting at the same pressure. JMO

Hoosiers reckon their 34.5 x 17 x 16 work best between 5.5 - 6.0.
