What is the best way to cut lexan?
Hey guys, just wanted to know which way is the best to cut lexan. I need to cut out a little section on my Opel and I don't want to run the risk of cracking it. Just about got her put back together and I can almost smell the racing gas. Thanks in advance for the help.

Sharp tin snips or a jigsaw work well. If you go the jigsaw route, you'll need to put a heavy layer of masking tape anywhere the saw will touch the surface to prevent marring it......

as long as you keep the protective film on the lexan, and buy some fine teeth blades for a jig saw it cuts very clean and easy so easy, I can do it, after you lay out template on lexan go to corner and make a few practice cuts, try it with tape on it also, it is very easy
