Default paint help

need some help im looking to paint my car a flat black but i want a clear on it is there a way to paint the car flat black with a clear but get the look of flat black with out a clear

Yes, when you buy your base and clear, just ask for some flattening agent. you may have to experiment with your ratios on a scrap panel to get your desired effect.

One thing to remember...If you do not have a booth, you Better make sure the garage is clean and wet the floor...if you get dust in the clear,your screwed...you won't be able to color sand and buff to get it out....unless you want it to shine,which obviously you don't.

i would betttttttt alot that the ebay stuff is not acrylic enamel.... There being so funny with there sticker. There is a very easy way to do flat/ satin black.

You can use enamel with laquer thinner and dull it down some.

i called the paint house today im going with hot rod black and they make a flat clear they say its not saposta make a shinny finsh so we will see my buddy is the one that is painting it he is preety damn good he has a paint booth i will post a pic when done thanks guys
