Default what sbc intake for dominator carb?

i'am building a 434" small block, i have a Brodix #1002 intake that has been milled on the sides so much i don't think i can use it. so my question is edelbrock #2970 a good intake? or do i need to spend more for brodix or dart? my motor will be 14.7 to 1 on gas, afr 227 heads and have been ported, bullet roller cam 660/647 and 278/286 @ .050. thanks for your help Doug

I'd spring for the Brodix and have it port matched.

Not taking anything away from the others but any intake you get is going to need some work to get the most potential it has, so you might as well and go on and get the better one which would be the Brodix IMO>
