Dana 60 HELP!!!!
Hello,
I recently purchased a 68 roadrunner pro street set-up with coil over rear, ladder bar suspension. narrowed dana 60 spooled with 4:30 gears. It goes very well under power then when I left of the throttle you hear a chatter/marble sound coming from the rearend. I have had the rearend apart 3 times with very good dana people and they are all puzzled. The gears, bearings, lash, wear all look excellent. I have even changed both pinion bearings and made no difference. I am looking and all items to check. It just does not seem it's the rearend but very puzzled. Thanks!!!

Have you got this figured out yet? As much as this sounds goofy, take a look at the exhaust... your drive line... you get on it, it's fine. You let off, your geometry has changed... what could be coming in contact w/ the drive line or exhaust as the suspension is changing from loaded to relaxed?
