Default what converter do i need

building a 540bbc blown alcohol engine
11.8 static comp.
731/726 lift roller //114 lobe center //running dur 322--326//dur at .050 284--288
brodix heads flowed to 372cfm on intake at 700 lift
12-71 blower 20%OD
big&ugly injector hat
port nozzles
110 pump

trans;;pg with brake
1;80 straight cut gears
10 disc high gear

4;30 gears
car estimated at 2800 lbs
32x14.5x15 slicks

can you tell me size and stall converter i'd need for my car..funds tight so may need to buy used instead of having one built for me.

Hotrod, where you been?
I can tell you that blowers come in really early, around 2500 RPM. Most converter companys will tell you a 10" and specifically built for a blower or nitrous and i agree (bullit proof) Also you will probably need a throttle controller to keep from blowing the tires off. My suggestion would be 4,000/4,500.

thanks zipper;;;winter been tough on my helth but did manage to get engine about 90% done now..been 5 years buying right and wrong parts but almost there;;

That thing looks real mean..... but where's the nitrous solenoids...lol

Seriously though, give Chance Race Convertors a call. Marty Chance will tell you exactly what you need, whether you buy one of his or not.

Oh no.... i saw low funds...and used parts. Be extra careful! That engine is gonna be brutal on every drivetrain part back. Should easily make 1400 hp with a mild tune.
