how the heck do u go about doing this????

Grind the rivets off (uppers)and either use a BFH or an arbor press on the lowers.

The new uppers will come with bolts to replace the rivets. Best to have the new lowers pressed in.The BFH is ok to remove the old but may damage the new ones.

It also depends on what you are working on too. Some of the after market control arms use the old mopar ball joints that thread in.
