Hardtail Altered Pinion Angle????
I am putting in a hardtail rear end in my 23 altered. Would you set the pinion angle at 0 or still set it down 1 or 2 degrees?

It needs to be set straight with the output of your transmission, plus or minus what the coupler allows as a tolerance.

How would I know the tolerance? It is a powerglide trans with a 8 3/4 crysler rear end.

Is it a coupler or a driveshaft like mine?

Sorry I assumed it was a coupler and didn't even think of it possibly having a short drive shaft. You would have to check with the manufacturer of your coupler to see just how much misalignment it will stand. It won't be very much.

It is a short drive shaft not a coupler. Should it still be straight on at 0?
