Question to all you hotdogs, Detroit locker or Limited slip
Some know i' building a Prostreet Sonoma. It's time to buy the rear end setup. I can buy a Detroit locker for less than $150.00 but i'm not sure this is the way to go. I't's my understanding that if you run a Detroit locker it doesn't lock up until the torque is applied, which means in a race situation the car would probably pull left or right off the starting line at the strip. Has anyone been there?

Years ago I had a Detroit Locker in a small truck that I drove everyday.
It worked great, but would sometimes pop like hell when you turned hard. That's normal for 'em but will scare the heck out of you till you get use to it. They are pricey, but worth it if you want ultimate hook up and street ability.
