Me personally I would go witht the aftermarket aluminum heads.

a friend of mind has some,victor jr heads and some world product roush 200's... he want 800 for the vics and 400 for the worlds which would be the best bang for the buck??

Assuming both are bare castings and they are aluminum, I'd go with the merlin/roush heads.

Dont scimp on valves, springs, retainers buy the good stuff and have the heads done by a reputiable builder. It's a wise investment.
