i am interested in being a mechanic for either a dragster or funny car team anybody have any ideas on who too talk to for info thank you very much

Stick to "larger teams" if you're looking for something full time. ( Force, Schumacher, Bernstein, Tasca, Kalitta?, Pedregon?, Prudhomme?) Go to a race with a stack of resumes. Having a CDL and fabrication/TIG welding experience would definately be in your favor if possible. Try to talk with crew cheifs or team managers if available but dont be a pest about it. Good luck there isn't much available right now with so many teams closing the doors. That makes it difficult for "green" guys to get in when there sre so many experienced guys looking for work.
