thanks , I hope everybody takes the time to read this , being a retired fireman I am supposed to know all about this kind of thing , but I have been guilty of useing brake clean to clean metal before I weld it , too.

Just trying to keep it on top, to me it's that important.

Was using that stuff today on a brake job, got me to thinking of it.

All I can say is if it is that bad and it sounds like it is. It should be outlawed.
