My 96 z28 Camaro keeps burning out the Ignition control modules, has anyone ever had this problem and can maybe point me in the right direction?

Can be several things. If you're buying cheap parts like the garbage autozone sells that could be the trouble. Spend a couple of extra bucks and buy a quality part. Weak plug wires, spark plugs worn (gap too wide) bad ignition coil or wiring. Check the charging system too, if the alternator output is high it can cause problems with the module. If I'm not mistaken that module mounts to an aluminum bracket and that bracket acts as a heat sink. Make sure you clean the mounting surface and apply some silicone dielectric compound to the area betwen the module and bracket. This helps transfer the heat from the module.
