I remeber photos in high school health class showing drivers impailed on steering columns.......We've come a long way Baby.

Not a fair comparrison IMO, did you see all the rust that belair choked up? I'm thinking it wasn't near as solid as it was in 59.

They need to crash into one of them old mid sixties Chrysler Imperials.....I bet the outcome would be a little different...not saying the new car would lose....but those Imperials were tanks. Banned from many Demolition Derbies around here because you couldn't kill em.

engine and trans were missing from the 59 so it was lighter than stock also...

Wrong, it had a 6 banger as you can see the air cleaner flying off at contact.
