Default Beware of Jimmy Sexton

Beware of Jimmy Sexton of Waterville ,Ohio. He likes to trade for your good parts for his junk, then tell people how bad he got screwed. He got me, and others, and will continue to screw people over. He has gone by the handle Jimmy6 and Johnny5, but his name is Jimmy Sexton.

OK, here's the deal, I traded him a 1994 S&W dragster with a 555 BBC that ran 7.70's for a 1964 Chevelle that had been back halved and a S-10 drag truck that needed to be finished.I thought I looked everything over good, but ,I had to take his word on allot of stuff. Well, the first thing that happened was, on the way home in the trailer, 2 of the 4 link bars came unscrewed, turns out they were too short, then I tried to change the rear wheels because the ones he had on it were too big and rubbed the wheel wells, they were the wrong bolt pattern. Then the 9 inch that came with the deal that was supposed to have a posi unit in it was not a posi, it came with what he said was a "Brand New" Optima battery, it won't even hold a charge, the Powerglide that came with it doesn't even have a tranz brake in it, it has the solenoid but no brake, the power steering pump was junk, the water pump was a short unit and to run an alternater and power steering unit you need a long style, on the S-10 most everything there is what he said, but , the Chevelle is where the deal was based on. Here is what he got :

1994 S&W Hardtail is certified for 7.50 and up until 2012.

Engine :
555 BBC
New APD 1150 Methanol Billet conversion carburetor.
Wilson Manifold 2" Spacer
Ported World Merlin X Intake
Brodix BB2 Xtra CNC'D Heads with Titanium intake valves and lightweight stainless exhaust, titanium retainers. Hand blended to Intake manifold.
Stainless Steel Comp Cams Roller Rockers with matching stud girdle.
World Merlin II short deck block.
Ohio Crankshaft Steel crank, and rods.
SRP custom pistons.
Comp Cams 47 Swap .736" lift roller cam.
Xtreme Duty roller lifters.
7/16" chrome/moly push rods.
Hamburger Dry Sump oil pan.
Tilton Super Mini starter.
100 Amp one wire alternator.
Moroso Water pump.
Peterson 4 Stage Dry Sump oil pump.
Remote Oil Filter Mount for Ford or Chrysler filter.
Hooker Super Comp upswept headers.
Engine has 65 passes since freshen up, Valves, springs, retainers, cam & lifters, pistons, rings and bearings and Intake were all new at freshen up.

Trans & Converter:
PTC 8" custom built converter with 12 passes on it.
Powerglide with Ultra Bell.
High Output BTE pump.
7 Disc clutch assembly.
Billet 1.80 gear set.
Roller Shorty cover.
All with 12 passes on them.
Mark Williams Coupler.

Rear End Assembly:
Chrome Housing.
Mark Williams 3rd member with 4.11 MW gear new last year.
35 Spline MW axles and spool.
Mark Williams 4 piston brake calipers and assembly.
Convo Pro Wheels with 16"X15"X33.5" Goodyear tires with only 20 passes on them.

Chassis:
Updated cage and chassis with 22" main rail width.
Adjustable brake and gas pedal.
225" Long wheelbase.
Certified to 7.50 until 2012.
Pro Star front wheels with Goodyear Front Runner tires.

Electronics:
All MSD ignition with 7AL2 box.
3 Step.
Pro Power Coil.
MSD plug wires.
K&R Wiring system with control panel, all new last season.
K&R Pro Cube Delay Box with Auto start and 3 stage timer.
K&R Pro-Stage Starting Line control.
ACD CO2 Shifter.
Hurst reverse pattern shifter assembly.
Auto Meter Oil preasure and Water temp gauge's.
MagnaFuel 500 with built in Filter and MagnaFuel 2 Port Regulater

Extra's:
TCI Group 4 Converter.
CO2 Tank and Gauge.

This car has ran a best of 7.71 @ 171 MPH 1/4 mile with the old Carburetor.

The first time out with this car it ran 3 7.70's in a row. I told him that the valves were adjusted cold and as soon as he got some heat in it to re-adjust them, which he did not do , so he broke a push rod tip off.
I called him at least twice try to get this deal straightened out, and he said he would make it right and would call me back. He did not. So, this is why I am telling this, he is now saying that he got the bad end of this deal and that the engine is not what it was supposed to be. Well, anyone who knows me knows what that engine is, and if you read through the add you will see it too. All I want is for him to at least try to make part of this deal right.

Good memory.
Nice real nice.

The bad guys are replicating faster than we can deal with them it seems.
