Where's the rest of the track?????? High 3's and low 4's. They need some additional runway there.....
A track down in Sikeston, Mo, has a really short shutdown. A little way past the end of the track used to be a little house with a carport. I did say used to be a car port didn't I..
I saw a car run right through it some years back...

Many of cars had late chutes which was obvious, but that track is too short for the type of cars the ADRL races. The track was supposed to be lengthened for the 4th of July race this year, but it never happened and the race was moved to a different track. The drivers should have driven down the track in their golf carts before racing to see what it looked like, but apparently didn't.

You would think after watching a pair or so that someone might have the brains to say that it is unsafe!!! Wasn't the ADRL the one that made the big claim how safe it was to race these cars thru the 1/8 mile. Great job on promoting safety 1st when scheduling that track!!!

Last I heard, ADRL won't be back there because of that.
And yes, Sikeston has a damn short shutdown if you're 125+ in a heavy vehicle.
There was at least one pass where I had considered trying my hand at outlaw sprint cars there when that fence was rapidly approaching.
