Default Help Cutting out roll bar

I'm getting a 57 Chevy Belair and it has an 12-point rollbar in the car. I just want this as a street car, will the car be ok if I cut the bars out of it?? Maybe the knee buster and the one across the door. Stock cars did not have any support, like this? If the car is all connected to the frame and front clip this car has a 454/th400/9" 4-link.

I agree that you might be removing structural support and strength by removing critical sections. If you could post a series of pics showing the attachment points we might be able to guide you with more intelligence.
Always remember; There is strength in triangulation.
