Default Is everyone that broke?

Been trying to sell a Jeffco and a roller Grand National, now I put my shop equipment up for sale and can't even get an offer. Is it that bad or is everyone just sitting on there money?

it's tuff nan, in my case i have a daughter going to pharmacy school
she lives here at home w/my grand kids which have a dead beat
dad and let me tell you, it cost to raise kids, no gov. assistatance,
and my grand kids have no idea that food, clothes and things cost
money, they think you just go to the store and get what you need.
these kids (5 & 3) drink 2 gal of milk a wk, i could go on but just
to give you an idea, and i stay at home to watch them, my income
was cut in half, i have not bought anything on here for the past yr.
just can't afford it right now, but our bills are paid, food on the table,
and the kids are happy, good luck bud

I work with a guy that has a wife and 3 kids, makes 22 dollars an hour, has a house that is less than 1 year old and gets $430 a month in food stamps.

well i wanted McCain, but oh well, we applied for food stamps and
they replied, "sell one of your cars, right now you qualify for $5 a
month", were fine without it, on Peoples court a women was suing
a company for scratched sunglasses that cost $900. she had
bought 3 pairs, 3 PAIRS! @ $900. ea, the judge found out she was
on Medicare, the judge ripped her a new one told her she is part
of the problem this country is in and almost threw the gavel at
her. (i know i watch peoples court while feeding the grandkids
lunch) heh heh

We the People of the United States Of America " spend more than we make every year"!! Our wants are more than our paychecks and we expect somebody to take care of it or make it go away.

Sales seem to be down everywhere. Money is as tight as I remember back to the late 70's and early 80's.

Almost everyone who contacts me to buy something is looking to trade big and pay out cash small.

In my line of business I have been approached by investors who want to use the barter system to put deals together. It's like "What do I have or own that will help pay for your services"......

I am just waiting for the interest rate to climb to 18% and gas to go up to 5 bucks a gallon.

I certainly hope it does not happen, but as you can see no one is spending. That will certainly hurt the economy.

STIMULAS????? HUM BUG SHUM BUG...........

Its really crazy out there, but there will be another day............ Make the best of it........

Both of my racecars are parked, motorhome is parked, and every dime is just to keep food and shelter. Thanks to the 'stick it to U.S.' package that was blown through without being read.
