Default old stripes

Hey Guys , I am trying to remove some old vinyl stripeing off of a camper with fiberglass siding . it has faded and become brittle and cracked up. I have tried everthing I can think of...anybody have a suggestion or a home recipe for removal??? I dont want to ruin the finish as I want to put on new stripes....thanks , Paul

Keep in mind it's like moving furniture in the house. You suddenly have a clean carpet rectangle where your sofa was!
