Default E-85?

OK?
Going to Switch my 540"BBC over to E-85!
I have Yet to pull a cylinder Head off,so i'm NOT 100% sure about the Compression other than what the Previouos Owner told me??But,i realy think He was a bit off?He said the Motor had 15:1?I realy think the Motor is closer to 13:1.
Been using a 1100 cfm Gas Dominator. But will switching to a Rons 4.100 Toilet Bowl Injection,i have talked to Colin @ Rons and have there set-up ready to go in Place?
Is there anyone out there that has INFO on this Gas to E-85 Conversion?
Hopefully this will be like switching over to Alcohol?-SMOOOOTH!
THANKS

Default e85

If you need some good info on e85 you can go to ( raceone85.com and e85forum.com ). There are racers using e85 at 15 to 1 with a good tune so you should be good to go. My sbc motor is 14 to 1, this is my second year on it .The car went as fast et and mph in good air as it did in excelent air on 110 gas. I got lucky, a station a mile away put in e85 last week and it was 1.89 a gallon. I filled my drum for under 100.00, so far this fuel is god sent. Hope this helps Ron

My honest thoughts on running a toilet on anything but alky is a bad idea. They are very hard to tune when people swap to gas I cant imagine the E-85 would be any better.

Email this link and ask [email protected] He knows way more then them boys at rons out west know.

Loose converter is a cure all fix to make a care deadly consistent
