Default Idea's For Alky Carb. Set-up

I'm wanting to go to an alky carb. set-up on my FED. Suggestions, Please. Car weighs just over 1500lbs. Glide w/ 3500 stall no t.brake. 377 c.i. sm.blk. makes 12.5:1 compression. Solid flat cam .571/.583lift, Dart iron heads 215 ports 2.05/1.60valves. 4.11 gear. According to the Holley on-line help quiz I need a 950cfm carb.. But all yhey ask for is Cubic Inch & Highly modified or not. Only run 1/8th mi. w/ this car.

FOR A DIGGER , I PERSONALLY WOULD GO WITH AN INJECTION UNIT, USED ONES ARE EVERYWHERE , A STACK SET UP LOOKS AND RESPONDS THE BEST...JMO

A good 750 would be the best choice, remember there is a reason some brands of alky carbs cost more. They usually are faster and easier to tune. Seen lot of problems with out of box holley alky setups

Default alky carb

I just want to try something different because I have run nothing but injection or blown injected over the years. I thought the 950 might be a little much. I was thinking I could get away w/ an 850 since the car is light, but not a 950. Thank's,

Kris
