Default Truck MPG

This might be a bit of a different post for this site but I just got a '99 Dodge 1500 Sport. It is completly stock and I was wondering if there was anything I can do to increase the MPG? Also is there any performance upgrades that I can do to help it it perform better also? Any ideas would be awesome. Thanks.

A high flow air filter would be a start, something like a K/N or equivilent. Then couple that with a cold air intake kit, now that would be friggin awesome!

Maybe less right foot pressure :!: :!: Just kidding, they aren't known for fuel mileage, :!: :!: never seen one of those engines go over 16 mpg.

UH-OH. That was your fault, ya know.Because you worked on it. It don't matter if all you did was changed the air filter...in a woman's mind, if the starter goes out next week it will be your fault because you worked on it last.
