THERE IS A PRODUCT MADE BY SEAFOAM IF I REMEMBER RITE CALLED TUNE UP. IT SMELLS LIKE PB PENATRATING OIL, THAT YOU SHOOT INTO ENGINE THROUGH PLUGS AND TURN ENGINE OVER THEN LET IT SIT, HELPS FREE STUCK RINGS. WE USED IT ON 2 STROKE BOAT ENGINE, IT IMPROVED COMPRESSION TEST RESULTS TO WITHIN SPEC. DOES NOT UNDO RING WEAR JUST FREES RINGS STUCK BY CARBON AND VARNISH

Thats what happens when you race a vechile that already has over a 100,000 miles, and is your everyday cruiser.

One reason the newer fuel injected vechiles last longer is that with a computer and stock fuel injection parts your engine is getting the optimum fuel mix. Thats why a fuel injected engines last so much longer than a carburated engine. In saying that, thats why when you go changing chips, sensors, intakes, mass air flow, cams, fuel pumps and etc. You are probably shorting the life of the engine.
