Default My projects almost done, dart block bbc stock suspension

Here is my budget build. Got many deals off of racing junk. It is a 83 Monte Carlo SS that is stock suspension on a 28x11.5 DOT tire. Should be fun. Basics include a 540, powerglide, 9", full interior and should be 3500 lb race ready with me in it. Here are some pics of the build on the eve of the first start up.

Here is the car

Its an eagle rotating assembly with l-19 bolts and je pistons. Bullet solid roller and BMF 350's.

The vacuum pump was another story. Definitely not meant to be used with a stock type set up/alternator. Had to do some fabricating for that...

Thanks for the compliments.

The brake set up is from a company out of Kansas City called Steel Concepts/Drag Race Brakes...
http://www.dragracebrakes.com/

As far as the headers, they are still the 2241 Hooker Headers for a bbc in a g-body.
