trans brake and two step

Default trans brake and two step

running a powerglide with a 4000 stall converter. would it help or hurt to hook up a 2 step with the trans brake button i have a 6al box and a2 step. thanks john

Not at all. It will probably work better. I usually set my chip at 600 to 800 hundred rpm less than my converter will stall with no chip and on the trans brake WOT.

That is the proper way in my opinion. As far as launch RPm you will need to play with it and see what it wants. Everything comes into play with this,
how hard to hit the tires, the RPM range of the cam, traction..
If I launch mine that close to my stall RPM I think it would spin or rip the roll pan off...
