ok im confused ive been told 4.25 is stock and that 4.00 is stock on my 454 which is true

4.0 STROKE IS STOCK 454, MY 496 HAS 4.25 STROKE CRANK

Depends on what it is on the 454. /// 4.25 Bore, 4" stroke.

yea stock bore is 4.25, crank is 4.00, 4.310 bore w/stock 4.00 crank
is 468, change the stroke on crank to 4.25 w/4.310 bore u got
a 496 stomper, for a factory block that is the best and biggest
bore you want to go with unless you get a merlin, and then
your car will go....whaaaaaaaaaaa whaaaaaaaaaaaa :wink:
